COVID-19 Update

Visitor Restrictions update from 10 January 2022

Dear families and team members,

We hope you have all had a wonderful festive season so far although we know that COVID may have changed some plans along the way!)

As you may be aware, the government has recently changed its definition of a close contact and as such, who needs to be tested and when.

Household contact

If you or a household contact (live with or have been in a home or care setting with a positive case for more the 4 hours), you will need to isolate for 7 days and provide a negative result from day 6. (PCR if symptomatic, rapid test is acceptable if you don’t have symptoms).

Due to overwhelming pressures facing our residents and staff, we find ourselves having to close our doors with minimal notice for a two week period. We will do our best to avoid this as much as possible.

We will continue to communicate via email and our website so please ensure you are checking these on a daily basis for the weeks to come.

We appreciate your understanding with the growing numbers and changing of rules. We will continue to do our best to keep everyone safe.

Sincerely,
Drysdale Grove Aged Care
